After a little more than 7 months, I have reach my half way point in creating 15mm English Civil War armies.  However, I need a long break.  I have painted some 225 figures. My eyes are telling me something???
The units are 38 figures strong in the regiments.  The cavalry vary a little, but mostly 12 figures.

I did add some musketeers to the ranks of the artillery.

  1. Very nice looking army. Half way can be a precarious stage for my projects.

  2. Looking very nice indeed. What rules are you planning on using?

  3. Yes half way is precarious. I am feeling a little exhausted about painting more. I am thinking I might restart up the project in the summer.

  4. As to a rule set Steve, nothing. I just wanted to paint them. I'd like to wargame with them at some point. I might create something. I do enjoy writing rules. Blood and Guts is the name of the book I wrote a few years ago on WWII. Unfortunately, wargaming has taken a back seat to the rest of my life. Something about three young kids - sports - homework - wife - career etc. etc. etc. Time is not my friend.
